Seacoast Therapy Associates accepts most major insurance plans.
Our sessions are $160 for a one hour appointment. We offer a sliding scale based on income for clients who are paying out of pocket.
At Seacoast Therapy, we meet you where you are. Therapy starts with understanding what’s bringing you in and what you want support with, rather than fitting you into a specific category or label. Sessions are collaborative, flexible, and paced to feel supportive.
Our clinicians draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other therapeutic modalities, to help you build insight, manage stress, improve relationships, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
Together, therapy can help you feel more grounded, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges—whether or not there’s a diagnosis attached.
That’s more common than you might think—and it makes a lot of sense to feel hesitant. A difficult experience with therapy doesn’t mean therapy can’t help; it often means that the approach, timing, or fit just wasn’t right for you at that moment.
At Seacoast Therapy, we believe the relationship matters. Therapy should feel collaborative, respectful, and paced in a way that feels safe for you. You’re always allowed to ask questions, share what hasn’t worked in the past, and be involved in decisions about your care. There’s no pressure to open up faster than you’re ready, and it’s okay to take things one step at a time.
If you’re unsure, starting therapy can simply be a conversation—about what you’re looking for, what you want to avoid, and what support might look like now. We’re here to help you explore that at your own pace.
That’s okay—and it happens. Feeling comfortable with your therapist matters, and not every connection is the right fit. Therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and able to be yourself.
If something doesn’t feel right, you’re always encouraged to share that—either with your therapist or with our administrative team. We can talk through what’s not working and help you find a better match if needed. There’s no pressure to “push through” a relationship that doesn’t feel supportive.
At Seacoast Therapy, we want therapy to feel like a good fit for you. Finding the right therapist is part of the process, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping for, and answer any questions you have about therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once. Think of it as a starting conversation rather than a deep dive.
No. You’re always in control of what you share and when. Therapy moves at your pace, and it’s okay to take time to build trust before talking about more sensitive topics. Your therapist will respect your boundaries and help you decide what feels right to focus on.
There’s no set timeline for therapy. Some people come for a shorter period to work through a specific concern, while others choose to stay longer for ongoing support or deeper work. We’ll check in along the way and adjust as your needs change.
Most clients start with weekly sessions, especially at the beginning. Over time, some people shift to every other week or less frequently. Together, you and your therapist will decide what feels supportive and sustainable for you.
That’s completely okay. Many people start therapy with a general sense that something feels off, without a clear goal in mind. Part of the work is figuring that out together. You don’t need to have it all mapped out before you begin.
There are lots of ways to get in touch with us, and we want to hear from you!
